How to practise

  1. Sit comfortably with a straight spine and the eyes gently closed.
  2. Allow the breath to flow naturally, just as it is.
  3. Rest your attention on the touch of the breath at the nostrils.
  4. Notice each in-breath as it enters and each out-breath as it leaves.
  5. There is nothing to change; simply observe the breath as it comes and goes.
  6. When the mind drifts, kindly bring it back to the breath.
  7. Continue for the chosen time, then sit still for a moment before finishing.
