How to practise
- Sit comfortably with a straight spine and soft shoulders.
- Breathe in gently through the nose to fill the belly.
- Make a short, sharp exhale through the nose by drawing the belly inward.
- Let the in-breath happen naturally and passively after each exhale.
- Keep a steady, even rhythm with the active push always on the out-breath.
- Start with a slow pace and only as many rounds as feel comfortable.
- Pause to rest and breathe naturally whenever you need to.
