How to practise
- Sit comfortably with a straight spine and the eyes gently closed.
- Take a few slow breaths to grow calm and centred.
- Chant slowly: Om Tryambakam Yajamahe, Sugandhim Pushti-vardhanam, Urvarukam-iva Bandhanan, Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat.
- Keep the voice steady and the rhythm even and unhurried.
- If learning, take one line at a time until it flows naturally.
- Let the attention rest softly on the sound of the chant.
- After the last round, remain quiet and still for a few breaths.
